Setting up POP3 Email

NOTE: POP3 is automatically enabled for Inboxes at the domain-level. You will also need to enable SMTP at the domain level and at the user level. Please see instructions below.

You are now ready to view the contents of your sub-mailboxes. To do so, please follow the instructions below:
- Log into the
Email Management Panel –
http://domain.com:8181

Enter – your credentials (User: “admin”, and your password). Click
on the "Users" link in the Main Menu (left-frame). Click
on the on the “Admin” user in the hierarchy list. A
screen similar to the following should appear:

Click on the "Mailboxes" link. A screen similar to the
following should appear:

To view the content of
your sub-mailboxes through POP3, you must first click below to enable
POP3 for that sub-mailbox. Then you must log into your account using
the format
userid-mailbox@domain. For example, to retrieve email from
a sub-mailbox called "work" through a POP3 connection,
and your existing email is johndoe@domain, you would use the username
johndoe-work@domain.

Go to the Change POP 3 tab of the sub-mailbox you would like to be POP
3 enabled and click on the "Enable" link.
- Repeat these
instructions for each for each
individual user account on your domain.
To send and receive
mail, please enable SMTP at the domain level and at the user level.
Please follow the instructions below:

Click on the on
the “Admin” user in the hierarchy list. A
screen similar to the following should appear:

Click on the "SMTP" link and the following screen will be launched:

Click on the "click here" link and
a screen similar to the one below will be launched.

Click on the "Enable SMTP" button.

Follow the same steps to enable SMTP for each individual user account
on this domain.
