Configure
Email SPAM Filters for: |
The following describes how to configure Outlook Express 6 to move spam to a separate folder based on our Spam filter tags. Because Outlook Express 6 does not allow you to define rules that apply to the message header, you can only apply one level of spam filtering. However, this should be sufficient to filter most spam messages that are sent to your domain.
Start Outlook Express
Click on Tools / Message Rules / Mail

In the Conditions section place a checkmark beside Where the subject contains specific words
In the Actions section place a checkmark beside Move it to the specified folder

Click on the blue contains specific words link
In the text box type #SPAM#
Click the Add button and then OK

Click on the blue specified folder link
Indicate the new folder where you would like you spam to be sent
Click OK

Type a name for the rule
Click OK
Your rule is now configured. Any email you now receive with #SPAM# in the subject field (our system will do this automatically with any email rated 5.0 or above) will automatically be moved to your spam folder.
