Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2008 Database

 

As a part of the SQL Server 2008 Go Live Program, we are now offering accounts on the SQL Server 2008 platform. By joining the Beta program and trying out SQL 2008, you’re getting an opportunity to test out the software before it is available to the public. Your SQL 2008 database can be activated through the Control Panel once your web hosting account has been activated.

 

Please note that this service is still in Beta and is operating with Pre-Release software. As a result the service is provided without warranty or guarantee of reliability. We will make our best effort to maintain the service throughout the beta period, as well as provide a full migration to a permanent SQL solution when the beta program has ended.

 

SQL 2008 includes all of the features included with SQL 2000/2005 plus the following new and improved features: Auditing of Data Changes Entity Data Services LINQ Support Data Synchronization Features No size restriction on User Defined Types Improved Date and Time data types and new Spatial     Data Types XML Enhancements Table Valued Parameters	SQL2008 25* 1 database 25 MB disk space
SQL 2008 database service comes with myLittleAdmin for SQL Server 2008, a web-based management tool designed for Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Using myLittleAdmin you can manage your database and server objects, such as tables, views, programmability and security objects, through a web browser. All prices are in US dollars.

 

To sign up for SQL 2008 Database, you must have a hosting account with myhosting.com. Once you have set up an account, log in to your Control Panel to choose from any of the SQL plans. There is no limit to the number of databases you can add to your hosting account.
