Configuring Netscape for IMAP4 (Macintosh OS X)

  1. Launch Netscape Mail and click on View settings for this account.


  2. The Edit Mail and Newsgroups Preferences window will appear. In the list on the left, click on your existing account. In the Account Name field, enter your applicable user@domain. In the Email Address field, enter your applicable user@domain. Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the list. Click the Set as Default button.



  3. You will be presented with a screen similar to the one below. Enter your applicable user@domain in the Server Name field.


  4. Check the box next to User Name and Password. Enter your applicable user@domain in the User Name field.
  5. Click OK to save your changes and exit the dialog box and complete your account set-up.
