To modify your
existing Eudora account, please follow the instructions
below.
- Select Tools => Options
- Select Getting Started in the left-hand portion of the
window. A window similar to the following will appear:
- Replace the information in the Mail Server (Incoming) field,
with your applicable mail.domain.com (make sure to replace the mail.domain
fields with your actual username and domain name). Type your email
address into the Return Address field. Your email address is your
applicable user@domain. In
the Login Name: field, type your applicable user@domain. In the SMTP
Server field, type smtp.domain. Check Allow
authentication.
- Select Checking Mail from the left-hand portion of the
window. A window similar to the following will appear:
- Check Send on check, select Save Password.
- Select Incoming Mail from the left-hand portion of the
window. A window similar to the following will appear:
- Select IMAP, select Move it to, select
Passwords.
- Select Kerberos from the left-hand portion of the window.
A window similar to the following will appear:
- Check Off for Kerberos Authentication:, check
Off for Kerberos 4 (POP only).
- Select Threading from the left-hand portion of the
window. A window similar to the following will appear:
- Check Ignore idle time wait on manual check/sends, Type
1 into the Maximum number of concurrent tasks field.
- Click OK to save your changes and complete your account
setup.
