Can I renew my domain name through myhosting.com?
If you registered a new domain through myhosting.com then you’ll be able to renew your domain with us. If your registration is not with myhosting you may be able to do a registrar transfer so that we can renew your domain for you. We can only renew the most common domains such as .com, .net, .ca, etc. If you are curious if we can renew your domain please contact our support department at support@myhosting.com.

Is there a minimum contract for any of your web hosting plans?
There is no minimum contact for any of our web hosting plans. If you decide to pay 3, 6 or 12 months in advance for your account, but cancel before the billing term has ended, then we will credit the unused portion of your payment.
We recommend the 12 month billing option so you can enjoy our low promotional pricing!

What methods of payment are accepted?
We currently accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards as well as PayPal, cheques, and money orders.

Is it possible to use your email hosting services or web site hosting services and keep the other with our current provider?
Yes, you can certainly do that. If you are using our Web Hosting services, you’ll need to edit your DNS record with your current provider and redirect your “A” Record to the IP address of your account with us. The IP address of your account will be provided in your “account ready” email.
If you are using our Email Hosting services, you’ll need to edit your DNS record with your current provider and redirect your “MX” record to the IP Address of your email server with us.

Can we have multiple domains under a single account?
Yes you can. The first step would be to sign up one domain as the primary domain and then the others can then be linked to it. For example; if you have mydomain.com as your primary domain you want mydomain.net, and mydomain.org to link to it you’d just need to sign up the additional domains for the Domain Forwarding plans and you can then set them to forward to mydomain.com. If you are using our Email Hosting services, you’ll need to edit your DNS record with your current provider and redirect your “MX” record to the IP Address of your email server with us.

Once I register a domain through myhosting can I manage the registration information?
Yes you can. To retrieve your domain management login you’d need to contact support at support@myhosting.com. A representative from the support team will then request that the login information be sent to the current administrative contact that is listed on your domain registration.

If I register a domain with you can I move it to another hosting company if I need to?
Yes you can. Once you register a domain it is yours and you are free to host it wherever you choose. If you need assistance with moving your domain please contact support at support@myhosting.com.

Can I modify my own DNS Record?
Yes you can. Through the myhosting.com Control Panel you can make changes to your DNS record, including NS, MX, A and CNAME record modifications. This feature is supported with all hosting plans with the exception of Domain Parking and Domain/Email Forwarding.

Do you offer web page design services?
No, at this time we do not offer any web design services. However, we do offer a service called “Site Builder” that you can add onto your account to help you with building your site. The basic setup for “Site Builder” is free.
