NOTE: If you are upgrading from an older myhosting.com hosting plan that is no longer offered, you will not be permitted to downgrade back to your old plan. All new service plans include additional disk space, additional email accounts, and data transfer allowances.
Yes. You must either register a domain name with myhosting.com, which you can do for as little as $9.95, or transfer your existing domain name in order to signup for a hosting plan. IP-only hosting is not provided.
The only hosting plan which does not require a domain name is our File Hosting plan. With this plan you can use a vanity domain such as yourname.myhosting.net

For US $22.45 per month, you get unlimited Internet access service throughout Canada and in 48 States across the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) without having to pay any additional roaming fees. Dial-up services outside of North America will be subject to additional roaming fees depending on the zone the service is used in. myhosting.com is not responsible for phone charges associated with your use of our services. Please note that in some countries, phone calls are metered for certain locations. For additional assistance on determining these charges, please contact your local telephone company for applicable tariffs.

myhosting.com offers standard POP3 email boxes which you can access through any standard POP3 email program such as Outlook Express, Eudora, Thunderbird, Windows Mail or Mac Mail. You can also use any web based email website that can connect to POP3 mailboxes such as http://mail2web.com to access the emails stored in your mailbox on the mail server.

The Premium Hosting Plan provides you with 500 unique POP3 email accounts. This is in addition to the email forwarding and unlimited aliasing capabilities that can be configured from our Control Panel. All email accounts can be accessed by using any standard POP3 email program, such as Microsoft® Outlook Express, Eudora, Pegasus or by from the web by using mail2web.com.

Once payment is received, your account will be activated. Transfers of domains usually take 24-48 hours to be updated after you submit the changes to your registrar.
