Select your Linux OS

We offer two Operating System options for our Linux Virtual Server Hosting platform, either Debian or CentOS. If you are unsure which option to select, we recommend Debian Linux. Both options include the same software including the full Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) package and a virtual environment using Xen as the hypervisor.

Debian

Debian is a popular multipurpose operating system that is both free and open source. It allows for incremental and rolling upgrades, making it easier to keep your server updated.

CentOS

CentOS, or Community Enterprise Operating System, is derived from a prominent Enterprise Linux operating system and aims to be 100% compatible with it.
