Search Parameters – Sometimes you think about a great video that you have seen on Youtube but can’t seem to find it. Or at other times you might want to create a list of similar items looking for what you want. Since Google took over Youtube, they introduced many of their search parameters to the site. For example, if you want to search for one of multiple phrases, you enter a part of your search like this, and Youtube will return results with all of these words.

Being online a lot, there are a tonne of great web developers who are on Twitter and use it regularly. Here are some of the best that you should follow and the reasons why.

  1. Zeldman (74311 followers) – Zeldman would win hands down if Twitter was a popularity contest with his huge following. He regularly links out to useful information, talks to his followers and re-tweets so there are many ways that you can benefit from his tweets. If you have 70000+ followers and you call yourself a “web design godfather” you have to have some value!
  2. Snookca (15,575 followers) – The name Snoocka is a clever play on the name of website of the owner (http://snoo.ca) which includes a wealth of tips and tricks to do with website development and design. This would be great if you are actually into designing yourself. His Twitter feed contains as he puts it “What I had for dinner” but contains genuinely useful links. It does appear a little random at times though.
