Make More Money Now!

by Stephen Nichols on April 12, 2007

Now that I have your attention, I am excited to tell you about some changes we have made to our Affiliate Program. We have made it even easier for you to make money.

We launched the program a few months ago and it has been a great success with over 250 Affiliates already in the program. Now we have made the program even better with higher payouts, more payment options and a lower payout thresholds.

We have also made these changes retroactive to start of our Affiliate Program. So if you are already a member you will be able to take advantage of this right away.

We have tried to make this program as straightforward as possible. The idea is simple; you refer customers to our services and in exchange we send you money.

Here are the basics of the program:

  • The program is free to join.
  • We provide you with an online tools to manage your account and access the resources you need.
  • Payouts are based on the schedule below. As a rough guideline they are approximately equal to three months fees for the service.
  • After a referred customer signs up they must stay with that service for a minimum of 90 days and their account must be in good standing.
  • Payments options are by check, PayPal or Account credit (for existing customers).
  • The minimum payout will be $50.00 US.
  • Payments are made once a month for qualified sales.

I’ve been a reseller for several years. Will that also be retroactive?

Stephen Nichols April 26, 2007 at 9:48 AM

That is a good question. Let me start by explaining the two programs and how they differ. Our reseller program, for, is in simple terms a bulk discount program. It is setup so that we bill a single account for all of the domains and offer a discount based on the number of domains. Essentially one person is the account administrator or web master for these accounts. This is an ongoing means to make money based on reselling our services at a profit.

The Affiliate program is a bounty program. There is no requirement that affiliates be customers although some of our most successful are. Our Affiliate program is still relatively new, we launched it last fall. In an effort to improve the program we made changes to the payouts. To be fair to our loyal affiliates we backdated these changes to the start of the program. That way any one who was an Affiliate would get full credit for all of the qualified sales they made through the program.

I hope this clarifies the two programs.

Definitely got my attention. I think this is a great way to really monetize your site and make it worth your time.

If it’s free to join and helps you make easy money, I can’t think of any reason not to join.

This is a great source of income on the side. You might not get rich doing affiliate programs, but you can definitely acquire some nice spending money each week.

250 affiliates in only a few months is impressive. That’s a lot of cash being spread around.

What exactly do you mean by ‘retroactive’ here?

silkysmooth August 17, 2011 at 9:44 AM

in cases like this, retroactive usually means that you won’t miss out on any advantages if you’ve signed up in the past.
