Recent Email Issues & Status Blog

Over the past few weeks we have been experiencing some issue with our email systems. Firstly, I want to apologize to all of you for any inconvenience that this undoubtedly has caused. Secondly, I want to reassure you that we have been working diligently on this problem and we want to be open and honest about what’s been going on. The typical email problems that many of you have been facing are delays in receiving new email. To complicate matters, we also experienced a hardware failure a couple of weeks ago that caused an extended outage. That hardware failure was resolved, but we are still experiencing intermittent problems whenever the load on the email servers reaches a critical level. We do have a temporary solution in place that should see the delays reduced drastically.

We’ve been investigating this problem since day one. The cause has been identified and we now have a permanent solution in the works. We will be implementing that solution as soon as we possible. We are waiting on a delivery of some custom built hardware which we expect to receive it in the next few days. As soon as we receive the hardware, we will be scheduling the required maintenance to implement the solution. We are expecting the shipment this Friday which would mean the email problems should be resolved before the weekend.

Because of this issue it was made very clear to us that many of you were not familiar with our status blog. We set up this site so we could keep our customers informed about any issues that might affect them. If you’re ever experiencing any problems with any of your services you can check the status blog at for the most up to date information. Additionally you can sign up for email alerts or subscribe to our RSS feed. If there are any updates you can make sure that you are kept in the loop.

We know that email is a critical service for many of you and we have been taking this matter very seriously. I assure you that we are monitoring the current system to shorten any delays that may pop up before we can get the new hardware in place. I hope you will bear with us over the next few days and that you’ll give us the chance to gain back your trust.
