WordPress is a very popular blogging and content management application. They are also well known for their simple installation process. And with our Application Installer it makes it even easier to get your new blog up and running quickly. Follow these steps below and you’ll see it’s a piece of cake to get started!

Log in to your control panel with your domain name and password.

Say you have the domain name “”; Do you want to use “” or choose something else like “”.  If you want the blog to be the main part of your website, leave the field blank and it will install it on the root of your website.

You can also choose some plugins to install automatically, as well as a few WordPress Themes to get started with.

This does seem very easy. Is Tumblr harder to set up?

Tumblr is easier to set up, but WordPress has a lot more useful features, especially for online businesses.

i agree, potsnpans. i’m not even sure i would’ve stuck with blogging had it not been for wordpress’s easy-to-use features.

It’s certainly easy to install a WordPress blog. It’s also very easy, I might add, to create your own website using WordPress — shockingly easy, I’d say.
