Smart Online Shoppers Influenced By Coupon Offers

Save MoneyA recent survey profiled on eMarketer conducted by Harris Interactive reveals online coupon usage will continue to be increased, tighter holiday budgets are expected, and that online shoppers seek out coupons before buying. The most striking piece of information however is a discovery made by Mintel.

The highest levels of online coupon usage among the affluent. In June 2009, more than one-half of US Internet users with household incomes of at least $100,000 reported using online coupons. By contrast, only 30 per cent of users with incomes under $25,000 used coupons they found on the Web. But respondents were more likely to have used a coupon from the Web in the past month (40 per cent) than an e-mail sales promotion (28 per cent). – View full article here.

Why do I have to enter my name and email? I’m already logged into User Management.

Hi Shane,

Unfortunately if you log into one community site, you still need to log into the other when you visit it. The “User Management” site lets us share usernames across the community, but unfortunately logged-in sessions aren’t possible.
