completely agree about the call-to-action part!
KISS me! well, actually, don’t. Just Keep It Simple and Stupid when it comes to Web design!
yeah, the only time aesthetics should be the main goal is if you’re marketing your art work!
I double agree. When people log onto your site, they want info and maybe some entertainment, and aren’t interested in your artistic flair.
And if you really want to show off your art, just provide a link to a subdomain entitled “My Artwork.”
I’m always amazed at how often I see business sites without any sort of call to action whatsoever.
Call to action, simplicity, easy navigation and useful info…if your site has these you almost can’t go wrong.
Wow, all that time I’d spend worrying in the past about my site’s aesthetics was pretty much a waste? Wish I’d realized this sooner!
