In a Dynamic and Resource Hungry IT Environment, Virtuozzo VPS Virtualization Solutions Bring Sanity and Balance

by Ozgur Akman on January 6, 2011

virtualIT requirements and capabilities continue to shift and change with each passing day. More and more organizations have to rely heavily on IT to leverage their core competencies to ensure more is achieved with less. This may be perhaps due to the shrinking resource-allocation base that most companies had enjoyed over the years. Whatever the case, the need for IT that works better, smarter, faster and cheaper is the Holy Grail of every organization. Virtuozzo has stepped up to take its place as the leading change-agent in the area of automated systems and VPS hosting solutions.

The Virtuozzo VPS approach utilizes a hitherto little or non-mass-used technology that improves on the traditional virtualization technologies. Virtuozzo Containers completely rethink and reinvent the hardware based approach to VPS hosting that has now run its course. For companies struggling with server costs, inefficiencies, and ROI, Virtuozzo VPS Containers offer the best resolve to achieving optimal operational performance.

One of the more specific challenges businesses face is the dilemma of resource allocation on a needs-only basis. This dilemma occurs in the face of a dynamic business environment that demands flexibility and scalability. Virtuozzo Containers solve this dilemma by creating dynamic and easily manageable Virtual Environments. This means that companies can change resource allocations and modify configurations in real time without interrupting the runtime of the server.

Secondly, businesses face the all-too-real management of resources conundrum. Now, it may seem that the easiest way to tackle this is to hire more and better trained server administrators but why do this when Virtuozzo have just the VPS hosting solution in hand? Virtuozzo Containers reduce the complexity and human resource demands that other servers require. In addition, automation of routine management tasks within the VE ensure that managing these virtual environments can be done easily and efficiently with minimal strain on other resources.

The third challenge business IT faces is the distortion between investment in infrastructure and ROI on the same. As businesses continue to look for ways to increase the profit margins while at the same time dealing with shrinking bottom lines, the obvious way forward is to reduce overheads to leverage whatever revenues may be coming in. With this in mind, Virtuozzo Containers represent the most cost effective and high profit-conversion vehicle in the market. The unique features of the virtualization solution ensures that businesses benefit most from lowered overheads, increase operation efficiency and a sweeping boost to general service provision levels and business process turn around.

Virtuozzo may lead to further breakthroughs that will really help to boost profits. I’m really excited about this piece of technology.

I wonder why it took so long for this technology to gain wide usage. I guess that’s the way it is with bold new ideas: it takes people a while to fully understand what they can do.

I think the main reason many companies didn’t do as many configurations as they could have is because they didn’t want to interrupt server runtime. All bets are off now.

Yeah, I definitely never wanted to interrupt server runtime, especially if it would take several hours or more. That’s a profit killer.

I can second that, Randy5: I was amazed at how many more customers I got when my website’s uptime improved.
