	Multilayered Technology to Block Spam Separate spam filters assess all incoming email and dynamically calculate the spam probability of every email. This delivers accurate threat protection, and lowers the number of legitimate email that are identified as spam, or "false positives". Email that is more than just likely to be spam is quarantined on Google Postini outside of your email network. This puts an added layer of security between your users and possible spam and virus threats. A regular digest of quarantined items allows you to make the final decision.  Through our your Google Postini control panel you and your users can also customize "allow" and "deny" lists so that anything that should be getting through, does. Additionally, you can set your personal spam filter preferences using Outlook, Entourage or Outlook Web Access.
	Google Postini Virus and Worm Scanning and Filtering The worm detection technology used in our Anti-Virus system identifies and intercepts "zero-hour" mass mailing worms before they enter or leave your Exchange mailbox. Virus updates every hour provide up-to-the-minute protection. Together with our spam filtering technology, they eliminate damaging worm and virus threats, clean-up your mailbox, reduce your risk and protect information assets, reduce bandwidth and storage costs, safeguard business integrity and limit legal liability, and increase employee productivity and control.
	Fraud Protection in Outlook 2007 The built-in Fraud Protection safeguards in Outlook 2007 protect your employees and your business from the growing volume and severity of Phishing and Pharming scams. Together with spam and virus filtering technologies, they reduce the risks of identity theft, maintain the reputation of email as a vital business tool, safeguard business integrity, and reduce the legal liabilities associated with fraudulent emails.
	Our Privacy Policy Protection of your data, your personal identity, and your privacy is our most important responsibility. Our written Privacy Policy is reviewed and applied to all business processes and operations. Our infrastructure is designed to ensure that no client can interfere with another client’s data, become aware of their presence or absence, or in any way access their email communications.
	Physical Security We understand the importance of your data and that is why our Data Center implements multiple security measures, including card access, 24-hour security guards, as well as continuous camera surveillance inside and outside the building. This allows us to assure our hosting customers that unauthorized personnel are never in contact with any of our web servers.
	Network and Server Security Because access to our Data Center isn't only physical, we provide customers with an unparalleled level of security via virus protection, network firewalls, real-time security alerting using intrusion detection scanners (IDS), and 24 hour monitoring from our Operations Team. Any potentially malicious activity can be curbed well before it happens. Microsoft service packs and security hot fixes are tested immediately and applied to the Exchange and SharePoint servers at the earliest after-hours Maintenance Period.
	Secure Email Access Protocols The following secure email access is built into the Microsoft Exchange servers and services we provide. RPC over HTTPS: The Windows RPC over HTTPS feature enables an email client like Outlook 2007 to establish connections across the Internet by tunneling the remote procedure call (RPC) traffic over a Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTPS). This provides users with the ability to connect securely to their Exchange mailbox without requiring the use a virtual private network (VPN), which can be costly and may not work behind other corporate firewalls. SSL with POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP: Our Exchange Servers support encrypted SSL connections when using POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP email protocols, so all email communications can be transmitted securely. S/MIME: The S/MIME feature in Exchange is about secure messaging. It enables users to send and receive signed and encrypted email. Signed messages allow the recipient to verify that the message came from the person that the message claims to be from. Encrypted messages allow the sender to ensure that only the intended recipients can read messages that are sent to them. While it’s true that the message is unreadable to anyone who might intercept it while in transit, it is also true that even the Exchange administrator cannot read these messages.
