Do any of you affiliates use a "chat live" pop-up? I know some people who say they're effective, and others who think they make customers angry.

Personally, I'd stay away from these pop-up invitations. Just make your chat button large enough so anyone who wants to chat will be able to.

A good rule of thumb is to not make your visitors feel like you're getting in their face or pressuring them, and pop-up ads can make people feel that way.

I think Pop-up ads is not effective anymore, some of browser already use pop-up blocker.
