If you bid on ebay by mistake somehow, how do you take that bid back?

Yes and no. eBay does provide a mechanism for retracting bids, but also tightly controls the circumstances under which it may be used. eBay prohibits bed retractions by rule under most circumstances, with some explicit exceptionsm.
