What's a nice way to tell someone to stop calling you so much? Any good ways to drop a hint without hurting someone's feelings?

Well, at first you may tell him/her that you are working on something. If (s)he doesn't understand you and you are getting sick of the calls, you can tell it directly.
I don't know exactly the way that doesn't hurt feelings. :)
Once, there was someone calling me in the middle of the night and texting me all the time, I blocked his calls and sms. I'm free now. :)
Does that sound evil? I am not sure...
