When it comes to choosing between Windows and Linux, what kind of customer would be better off choosing Windows and who benefits more from Linux?

Well, it is not actually correct to make a choice between them, but if we should do such a thing, we can say that windows is easy to use, and it is better for daily processes. If you are using daily package programs and can't stand the problems that may come with programs that you have installed, you should definetely use Windows.
Linux is for people who want to improve their knowledge about programming. Additionally, Linux is customizable in a way that Windows is not and it is also free. For one, the user interface, while similar in concept, varies in detail from distribution to distribution. On the other hand, a lot of people does not trust in linux since it is free.
The biggest disadvantage of Linux is that, it is still evolving and it also can not reply all the needs. And of course, the technical support that you will get in Windows will be way more better than Linux since Windows has more users.
This is only the basic parts.
