I'm just curious... is the myhosting classic Control Panel proprietary (custom made), or commercial, like cPanel (http://www.cpanel.net) or Plesk (http://www.parallels.com/plesk/)?

Yes, the Classic control panel is proprietary. We built it in-house from the ground up.
