What's a good age for kids to start learning the basics of computer programming? Do you think they should have programming classes in elementary schools?

I think you can start teach them since kindergarten, using easy software such as scratch
Scratch | Home | imagine, program, share (http://scratch.mit.edu/)
Scratch is developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, with financial support from the National Science Foundation, Microsoft, Intel Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Google, Iomega and MIT Media Lab research consortia.
