Publishing Site changes time out with gallery on linux

After installing the gallery application on Linux my web expression 2 application times out. Is the gallery application with word press too much to handle for web expression 2? If I remove gallery everything works at a reasonable speed?

I know Gallery has a staggering number of files and directories. Perhaps EW2 tries to index a list of files/directories? I suppose it may try to do something like this and is timing out.

I suppose that is what it is doing. Is there a solution to this?

I have a work around that I can publish files individually? or use an ftp client eg filezilla.


However is there anything I can do with WEB2 or does linux or file type in gallery have a factor in this as well?

Unfortunately, I haven't used EW2 yet. Can you see if there is any timeout setting that you can modify? I would also suggest getting in touch with their support, as a licensed user you should be entitled to something.
