Hi Everyone,

I'm new to using VPS. I am familiar with Cpanel from a basic hosting account that provided me with the DNS info I needed to input at my domain registrar. Currently, my VPS is operational and I am trying to find a guide on how to configure the DNS so that I can change the DNS info at my domain registrar. I do have Cpanel with my VPS. Could anyone guide me through the process or link me to a good tutorial?

Thanks

Hi Zevious,

Please take a look at this following link;

DNS for Virtual Servers (http://myhosting.com/wiki/DNS_for_Virtual_Servers)

What would the process be if I wanted to use the myhosting.com nameservers?
I've added the domain under Configuration and Admin which provided me with the nameservers. I also used Cpanel to create the account. Aside from updating the DNS info at the registrar is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks

Hi Zevious,

You will need to contact support at support@myhosting.com to request that myhosting add a DNS for your domain onto the above name servers. Make sure that when you make your request that you include your domain name.
