Is PowerShell a good language to learn? Do you find that it's powerful enough?

PowerShell was to be a new extensible command shell with a fresh design that would be capable of automating a full range of core administrative tasks. PowerShell on windows is similar to Bash on Unix, BSD, Linux, Mac OS X etc, but better than COMMAND.COM and cmd.exe.
