Updating PHP

Greetings,

I just read a blog post (http://myhosting.com/blog/2011/04/virtualization-comparison-pros-cons-parallels-virtuozzo-microsoft-hyperv-platform-vps/) comparing Parallels Virtuozzo Containers to Microsoft Hyper-V. But I'm still not clear about one thing: is it possible to update to the latest version of PHP when I'm using Parallels Virtuozzo?

Yeah, these links helped me out a lot. PHP would be really confusing to me otherwise.
