I have a domain with NameCheap but am considering getting hosting here, the problem is that I rather host and have my domain in the same place and I'm not sure how to set up a transfer.
Is there a simple set of instructions somewhere for this? If I wanted to transfer a domain from somewhere else would it work the same way or does it differ by provider?

That certainly does make it seem painless, thanks Jeremy! You guys should put together a set of links to things like that and other FAQ type tutorials and sticky it on the forums somewhere. Would be an amazing resource!
Oh awesome, that's a great walk through/how to for transferring. I don't understand why there's something to cancel after you transfer though. Shouldn't that just happen automatically?
