Hey guys,

So I want to install Wordpress on my company website. Unfortunately, my employer purchased the "Hosting Plan: Premium 2003 Promo Plan" which apparently does not allow me to install Wordpress because it's Windows based instead of Linux.

I tried installing Wordpress on the "Linux Sub Site," however that didn't end up working as I had planned.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I guess I don't NEED to use Wordpress, or even Linux, but I have ZERO experience with Windows hosting. What other CMS or program can I use? If I can't use any, then how should I go about building my web site?

Help!

thanks

It sounds like your on a legacy win2003 server which you're correct doesn't support php or mysql. I would recommend setting up a site on our onCloud(tm) platform by signing up at Web Hosting: Personal, eCommerce & Business Hosting Plans | myhosting.com (http://myhosting.com/web-hosting/). Any one of those plans will support WordPress with a single click installer.

In terms of billing, contact our support about assisting you with this move, but i highly recommend it.
