Hey all

We've updated our forum ranking to make things a little more fun and keep you all posting! So, when you hit certain marks in posting, you will get fun new titles to go with it!

Once you hit 10 threads you get "shooting star" added to your name; at 20 threads you get "flying saucer" and so on.

So keep posting my lovelys and let me know if you have any comments, questions or suggestions! I love hearing from you!

melissas,

The titles under my name are "Gold Member" and "Platinum Member". How come I have two titles?

Thanks,
Shane.

I guess that puts me at tarnished bronze.

Hey

Took out the titles like "shooting star" and changed them to titles based on numbers of posts.

not sure why its doubling up instead of upgrading to your new title.

Will look into it - thanks for bringing it to my attention!

thanks Shane - we're still tweaking the rating system and titles.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, I would love to hear it! :)

It would be cool if each month's leading poster was included in one of your Twitter tweets!

I just made a post in the Troubleshooting forum, but the post is awaiting moderation.

It would be nice if posts could not be moderated once a member reaches a certain "rank".

Shane.

Yes, and then we should do a Youtube vid for the person who holds the highest rank for 3 consecutive months!

A person doesn't become an Administrator (http://myhosting.com/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_reading_posting#faq_vb3_mods_admin s) automatically. Administrators have pretty much complete control over the forum.

ok! We now have the special badges and trophies created - what do you think?

How do the trophies work? Do you get more trophies depending on the number of posts?

Shane.

trophies are awarded to power users based on quality of posts

Why do I have to wait 60 seconds each time I report a spammer?

Shane.

Shane.

The delay prevents automated attacks against spam reporting.
