What are all your thoughts on the top 3 social media outlets?

what do you mean? media outlets reporting on online marketing tools or our fave social media tools?

For social media, I love Mashable, techcrunch and gizmodo
For online community tools, depends on what you want your end result to be... for basic communitactions and branding, I love twitter, wordpress and youtube.

Yeah, I like how well organized Mashable is. They provide you with just enough info to let you know what the article is about and allow you to share a dozen different ways.

Are you asking ow to make viral youtube videos? It is a myth that something only goes viral if the content is top notch. And yet, many video’s (and posts) do go viral with content that if I dare to say is weak. Content is a big part but sometimes how is it presented matters more than anything especially in case of videos. :)

I think it mostly depends on the content in your video. If its something people would want to send to their buddies-

yeah - I totally agree, viral means its spreading... content spreads because ppl think there's something about it (oddity, originality, etc) worth sending to and sharing with friends. You want content that will spread virally? think - would someone email this to all their coworkers saying - OMG, check this out? would someone post it on their facebook wall? if so, it will probably spread...

video is huge and I think it's both how you present it and the level of usefulness or excitement it generates.

I think it's best to start a buzz through your friends and family first, then go to your online social media tools.
