All I ever hear about is GoDaddy for domain purchases, but I like to support "the little guy." Anyone have any suggestions for reputable domain services that are not huge companies like GoDaddy?

do domain names cost the same regardless of who you buy from?

nope. and cost differs between extensions... like .com can be more expensive than .ca and stuff like that. We start at a cool $6.95 > which is a pretty damn reasonable and competetive price
