How are shout boxes different from message boards or live chat boxes? Do you feel they are worth putting up on your website?

Shoutbox is good for leaving semi permanent message for others to see, while live chat is good for chat with many people at the same time.

depends what you want to do. remember that there are many tools but only use tools with a purpose…dont just add tools because its available. otherwise you create usability issues.
