banning devices while driving

The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board has just recommended that every state ban the usage of electronic devices, especially cell phones, while driving. This recommendation goes way beyond the texting bans already in place in many states. Any opinions about this?

In Alberta, the use of electronic devices (for example, wireless headphones) is not banned. Distracted driving (for example, texting) is banned...
