Any opinions on Adobe Flex apps? Are they easy to program? And are they compatible with all major smartphone OS's?

Well, Flex is pretty powerful, acquired from Macromedia. However, I have been looking at Dreamweaver 5.5 with the new PhoneGap feature for creating native iOS and Android apps. Check it out if you serious about mobile apps.
