Any tips on how to use your blog to increase the number of people who click on your affiliate ads? I don't want to be too obvious about it, but blogs seem like a great way to spread awareness.

If you just make sure you're providing useful and informative content, and you brand your blogs with your logo, you should see results. Keep looking for influential bloggers to network with, too.

I'm agree with Rusher, ensure that your blog contains plenty of rich information that includes relevant keywords to your ads and use ads appropriately.

I generally prefer blogs, blogs are knowledge sharing and have importance too in marketing. You just need to write interesting enough blog so that visitors won't bounce back from your blog. Update your blog on frequent basis. It will be more helpful.

Make sure that you don't have too many ads above the fold, if there are too many ads above the fold on your site then it will not be ranked higher on Google

As we’ve mentioned previously, we’ve heard complaints from users that if they click on a result and it’s difficult to find the actual content, they aren’t happy with the experience. Rather than scrolling down the page past a slew of ads, users want to see content right away. So sites that don’t have much content “above-the-fold” can be affected by this change. If you click on a website and the part of the website you see first either doesn’t have a lot of visible content above-the-fold or dedicates a large fraction of the site’s initial screen real estate to ads, that’s not a very good user experience. Such sites may not rank as highly going forward.
