Does anyone have a strong preference between adMob and iAd? With which program do you stand the better chance of making more money?

This depends what you are advertising. I suggest you do a campaign on each as a test to see which converts better for you.

AdMob service are platform-agnostic, allowing developers to place those ads on Android, iOS, and even Windows Phone. Apple's iAd , meanwhile, is exclusive to iOS.
