Myhosting VPS is really slow, What are we doing wrong?

We have an account with myhosting. My site is www.lokewl.com.
From the moment that pass our site to VPS, the site has been slower and slower. We don't understand what is the reason

My partner is working in this issue but he still can't find an answer, Could someone please check our site and let us know what is going on?

Hi,

I've checked your site and see that you have a 1.2 mb .png (SpriteDrawings.png) file on the main page. I would change the image to a much smaller .jpg file and that will likely fix your load speed. If you continue to have troubles after that has been changed you can see the load times of all your webpage elements at Pingdom Tools (http://tools.pingdom.com).
