I've previously used shared hosting elsewhere but my sites have gotten big enough to need VPS Hosting. I've bought VPS Hosting here but its a bit more complex than shared hosting. Where do i even begin? I've managed to log in to the server and create a cpanel account which is what im familiar with but what else do i need to do to make sure everything works fine? I understand cpanel mostly and how to do stuff in that, but is there anything i need to do outside of that in the other admin area?

Also do i need to setup a new cpanel for each website i want to add? On shared hosting i just used addon domains to have multiple domains from one cpanel but i can't seem to do that here.

With cPanel/WHM there are DNS considerations to be had, but we fully document the recommended method at http://myhosting.com/kb/Getting_Started_with_Linux_VPS#Getting_started_wit h_cPanel.2FWHM_on_your_Linux_VPS. Once you have created nameservers, every domain you setup just needs to point to those new nameservers and created in cPanel and you're good to go!

Hi tigaruk. I would suggest using Linux (CentOS). It will be a huge headache money wise when using Windows. You have to pay for every feature/service you want to implement. https://imagicon.info/cat/15-33/smile.png

Thanks, im slowly getting everything sorted now. One final question for the moment, do i need to do anything to set up webmail? I keep reading stuff about setting up my own mail server but i only want to use webmail through cpanel like i've done with shared hosting before. Can i just create an email account and away i go or is there other stuff i need to do first?
