I thought it would be a good idea to gather what people's biggest mistakes were during the process of hosting/marketing/building a site so we could all learn from each other's mistakes.

well, someone recently pointed out how awful a website looks when it features endless scrolling...so early 90's.

Well, it can be useful at the same time.. :) But of course, if he/she really knows his/her work. This is not based on experience, so you may continue running.. :)
