A list or membership database

Is there a product which maintains a Membership database for an organization of about 400 members and allows frequent updates?

Are you just looking for some kind of application to store your member list and you can update their information periodically? Does it need to be web-accessible? Or do you want a full blown CMS product that allows users to register, log in, perhaps update their own information, etc?

You might want to start by looking at Content Management systems like Joomla!, Mambo or Drupal. They might even have add-ons which help you accomplish what you are trying to do. Or if you are just keeping a list of users then maybe something more like Windows SharePoint Services.
