Received notification today that my domain has successfully been transferred to SoftCom Inc. In the past, we used mail2web to send and receive email. I want to beginning using Outlook Web for this and have already setup mailboxes for my folks.

I am able to use for sending but it doesn't receive. All mail still goes to mail2web. I would like to know what I need to do to disable m2w to use OWA exclusively...I emailed support about this yesterday but havent received a reply as yet. Any help on this forum is greatly appreciated!

mail2web can be used with any email hosting service. So it sounds like although your domain name may have been transferred, it may still be pointing incorrectly to your previous web and email hosting provider.

One way that should indicate one way or the other is this tool:
Discover Who Hosts Any Website | Who Is Hosting This (http://www.whoishostingthis.com/) which will tell you where the domain name is pointing for hosting.

This isn't always accurate though particularly for email but it should give you an idea.

Support should be able to better assist you with this. If you haven't heard back and you used your OWA to send the message you may want to try giving support a ring: 24/7 In-House Phone Support | myhosting.com (http://myhosting.com/help/phone-support.aspx)

I didn't realize mail2web could be used with any hosting service. Are there special advantages for those who use mail2web and myhosting?

pluus, it's almost always easier to work with one company instead of two.
