Can't Upload PDFs to WP Site via MyHosting

Hi all,

I'm trying to upload a series of PDFS to my WordPress site via the MyHosting uploader.

I tried putting them in their own folder in wp-content and also tried to upload them to the main directory (http/docs). No matter what the path, I get a 404 when I try and view/download the PDFs on my site. Do I have to upload documents via FTP with this type of site? I couldn't see anything about adding documents in the WP Dashboard. :confused:

Now, I'm a total n00b to this WP/Css/Apache stuff, so I'm sure there is a facepalm in my future :D But any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend uploading the documents to WordPress' "Media Library":

Log-in to your WordPress admin CP.
Go to Media > Add New
Upload the file(s).


Once you do that, the PDF docs will be in your media library, and you'll be able to insert them into blog posts easily.

Wow, great tip, real easy. And I'd just about given up on using my PDF docs!
