Given the oil spill disaster, do you think chances are good that most people will drive electric cars by 2020?

I'd say that it's highly unlikely that most people will be driving electric cars by 2020. My main reason for thinking this is because most cars are kept for at least 10 years (though often by multiple owners). It'll take a long time for all of the existing cars to be rotated out of use.
