What kind of web site can install Google AdSense; does it have to be approved by someone? Is setting up AdSense fairly simple to do?

AFAIK, anyone can sign-up for a Google AdSense account. Have you read through the AdSense pages?

Setting up AdSense if fairly easy. It does require a Google account (for example, an @gmail account).
