Is it OK to keep using the same word for your password and just change the numbers after it, or does this leave you vulnerable?

I guess it all depends what algorithm the password cracker is using, which could be anything, really. Definitely dictionary words are the first it checks, I'm pretty sure. But, the threat is always there no matter how secure things can be.

The best password should include numbers, capital and small letters and characters like !@ etc. , you should also change you password once a month to be safe.
