custom or template?

Do you think it's better to design a website from scratch or use a template? Templates might look more professional, but there's a certain charm to homemade sites.

There are advantages to both. You can customize the template to your liking as well. When I used templates, I used to tweek the graphics a little. It's good if you need a website up asap, but if you want more "you" in it...then...Custom is definitely the way to go. The easiest way to make a website is through photoshop, and the outcome is mint!
