    Default Mysterious C:\CVS Folder

    Greetings,

I've just noticed that there is a folder on my computer called "C:\CVS". The folder is empty. Is there any way of finding out which application installed this folder? If not, can I safely delete it?

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.

    Thanks,
    Shane.

Isn't it a Version Control System? Did you install a development studio maybe Visual Studio, Source Safe, or some other development applications on your computer?

I installed Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, which has support for Subversion, but according to Adobe, Dreamweaver didn't install the C:\CVS folder.

    Thanks,
    Shane.
