    Default Twitter widgets vs. Twitter buttons

    Do Twitter widgets function differently from Twitter buttons when you add them to your website? Would you rather have a Twitter widget or a Twitter button?

    I thought those two are basically the same. Mentally, I think of them as social buttons. Should we as beginners add both?
