    Default Joomla vs. WordPress

    Looking for those with direct experience to weigh in on Joomla versus WordPress platforms.

    Both CMS have a good number of plugins and themes you can use. I tend to think that Wordpress is better for blogs and informational websites while Joomla is better for ecommerce websites. Wordpress is also better in the sense that it is just so much easier to use and play around with. I've tried Joomla for three months and then I decided to switch to Wordpress. Haven't regretted my decision since!

    Default I prefer wordpress

    Both of them are good. However, I prefer Wordpress. Joomla is good for companies who sell products. While, wordpress is for creating blogs and news sites.

    I found the learning curve for Joomla was much higher than Wordpress. I went back to wordpress and have been very happy.
