apt-get update is all screwy...
when I do an update, it goes all screwy about 404 not found. Is this typical of VPSes here, as I am a debian newbie. I am more comfortable with ubuntu 10.04 server.
yours,
Jacques P.

Hi Jacques P.,
I`m sorry to hear that you are having problems with your VPS, have you tried to contact customer support at support@myhosting.com, or by phone at 1-866-289-5091?
BTW, I've submitted your problem to myhosting staff. I hope that they will help you as soon as possible.
Cheers

It's been fixed on the host level, you can try it again. If for some reason the apt-get update doesn't work, try issuing the below command to manually update the repositories.
sed -i 's/\/\/\([0-9a-zA-Z\.\-]*\)\//\/\/archive.debian.org\//' /etc/apt/sources.list
